Christmas has always been my favourite seasonal holiday. This year my daughters and 7 grandchildren will be coming over on the 13th to decorate Gramma's house. I have not been able to decorate since 2018...Why will be revealed next year...I am very excited as I haven't had these 7 grandchildren all together ever...I will be missing my Charlie in Toronto and Ethan in Florida but we will be on zoom for a bit. Thank goodness for Zoom and other like platforms. Decorating, crafting, games, Christmas movies, singing carrols and the like. A day of absolute amazingness that 6 boys between the ages of 4 and 10 with one little girl of 6 can bring...That is Christmas for me...Children's excitement at Santa coming.
Of course my children teach that Christmas needs to be everyday from the perspective of kindness and compassion for all every day in how they live their lives. It isn't enough to just consider that during one season of the year.
