Life without Bella

I have been delinquent writing my weekly blogs because of the sadness of Bella but mainly because my central nervous system has been severely undermined by my conversion disorder putting me into a wheelchair.  This was caused by long term narcissistic abuse that overwhelmed the brain neuron pathways to my legs.  It's like having a fuse blow or a software glitch that just affects a part of the overall operating system, in this case, my legs.  The stay at home COVID set me back a lot and my energy levels have been at lowest ever in my life.  It is all reversible and I have all the doctors and therapists with all the balls rolling together in one direction finally.

So Elle my Bouvier has been severely impacted by Bella's loss.  She came in at 8 weeks old to a pack of 3, Elle made it four.  As the youngest, she had her brother and two tiny but older sisters to play with.  When Bella transitioned May 7th it took her a few days to figure out she wasn't coming back and it hit her hard.  She understands now that it is just Elle and I and has adjusted.  She is on a diet as she gained quite a bit of weight with the COVID stay at home.  But otherwise, she is happy and adjusting to being an only child...The wheelchair prevents me from rescuing a sister or brother for her but that time will come eventually.

So I trust you all are navigating COVID protocols and staying safe and healthy.

Surrounding you all with love, blessings and gratitude.
