Happy New Year. It's so satisfying to contemplate a new decade ahead, and today my heart is filled with gratitude - I auspiciously woke up to a dream of being visited by a dear friend who wished me many blessings in 2020!
There is something very special about today that I want to share with you. New Years Day is a day for new beginnings, but, so often we don't address the 'old' stuff - emotions, obligations, habits that can drag you down.
In the nature or release, many people do a Burning Bowl ceremony which is writing what you wish to let go of on paper, and throwing it into a fire.
Perhaps you have already done this, but I want to share some very special astrological timing that says TODAY - January 1 is the day to really, really release - I mean have it gone for good.
Here's why. Although it's New Year's Day, the moon is still in Pisces - the last sign of the zodiac. Pisces is a sign of surrender, release, and endings.
Before the Pisces moon enters Aries, is a time when the moon is 'void of course', - this means it is not interacting with any other planets.
If you want to literally throw something away, and lock the key to it ever returning, the time to do that is under a void of course Pisces moon.
This New Year's Day offers the perfect timing. Yes, it's a time of new beginnings, but the Universe is saying: take out the old first!!
